About Us

Not to many mothers can profess to birthing a daughter, best friend, and a business partner all rolled in one but that is exactly how Kay-NanEll came to be. We find it an honor and a privilege to work together to serve the community and help others with physical challenges they are facing. We pride ourselves in going above and beyond traditional massage sessions, integrating different modalities to fit your specific needs, to make sure our clients leave feeling better than ever.

Kay- Nanell is a small Therapeutic Massage practice located on Pace St. directly off HWY 278. We're tucked away amongst many independently owned and operated shops that have been in the community for years. We specialize in targeting and eliminating aches and pains, leaving you rejuvenated and restored after each session. We incorporate aromatherapy, manual lymphatic drainage, cupping, stretching and med light therapies as part of your session if needed at no additional charge. We realize not every person's needs are the same, so we strive to make every massage as unique as you are.

NanEll (aka: Nancy) Fell in love with the therapeutic benifits of massage while caring for the elderly as a CNA.  After a series of "fortunate events" my career path had to change. I enrolled at Gwinnett College to be a personal trainer after learning that I had scoliosis following a car accident and caring for a phenominal woman with neuropothy who told me my hands were healing and I needed to help more people with them.  I heeded her advice and enrolled at Georgia Massage School in Suwanee. Learning and studying after a head injury is a little different, so I would share the teachings with my daughter and then she would use me as her study and WHALLAH! Feeling her "healing hands" I asked her if she would consider becoming a therapist as well.

I, began my new career path with a holistic doctor/chiropractor in Marietta at The Center for Health and Healing.  Learning from her and being encouraged by my long time doctor and mentor, Dr. Thomas Tumbarello, of Advanced Spinal Relief Center (Marietta), I formed Kay-Nanell. I rented a room and saw private clients there when I was told about a quaint, beautiful, upscale salon that needed help on the square in Covington. Charmed/Anthology is where I fell in love with everything and everyone in Covington.

So, here we are. I wish I could tell you how we systematically planned opening our own place but I can't. It was definitely orchestrated by our creator and keeping our work ethic and service to HIS standard is now our new goal.
